WHAT TO BRING TO TREATMENT?

Guests at Mission Recovery Home are warmly welcomed to the picturesque city in Orange County, where they will find a comfortable drug rehab facility. Our aim is to provide an environment that fosters positivity and comfort throughout the recovery process. The grounding process marks a vital step in initiating this journey, and to ensure your safety, we adhere to strict policies.

Although we allow you to bring the necessities:

  • Valid identification such as a driver’s license or passport.
  • Your insurance card.
  • A list of names, addresses, and phone numbers of individuals you want involved in your treatment (such as loved ones, healthcare professionals, 12-step sponsors, etc.).
  • A small amount of cash and either a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card.
  • A record of current or previously prescribed medications, including dosages.
  • Jewelry that you consider essential, like a wedding ring or a watch. Keep other valuable items at home.
  • Pictures of your loved ones for your room or wallet.
  • Laptops or mobile phones (subject to review based on phases, progress, and approval).

Items You Should Not Bring To Treatment

In order to prioritize your safety and foster the most conducive environment for your recovery, the following items are prohibited:
  • Substances such as drugs and alcohol
  • Narcotics or any unauthorized prescription medications
  • Weapons, including guns, knives, scissors, and sharp objects
  • Pornography
  • Electronic cigarettes
  • Over-the-counter medications that are unapproved or have been previously opened
  • Games and playing cards
  • Candles and incense
  • Nail polish, polish remover, or synthetic nail-related products
  • Video games and DVDs
  • Sporting equipment
  • Outside food or drinks
  • Toiletries and beauty products containing alcohol, such as mouthwash and perfume
  • Revealing clothing, such as tank tops, sleeveless shirts, and midriff-bearing tops
  • Aerosols
  • Cleaning supplies, including bleach and ammonia
  • Electronics, such as televisions and gaming consoles
Certain items like video games, playing cards, and sports equipment are restricted to minimize distractions and allow for a focused recovery experience. The center will provide these items at specific times. External food and drinks are not allowed to maintain a balanced sugar and caffeine environment. Any specific dietary requirements must be communicated to the rehab facility before admission. Residential clients will receive three meals a day, along with appropriate snacks and beverages.

Clothing You Should Bring:

  • Ensure you pack a week’s supply of comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Include everyday comfortable footwear, such as tennis shoes or flip-flops for activities and baths.
  • Pack simple shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, cardigans, and jackets.
  • Choose appropriate pants and shorts for your stay.
